Daniel 1

• Main Point: The God of fallen Israel is still the sovereign King over all (rebellious) nations who continues to help and strengthen His faithful people.
• Purpose: Remain faithful to God amidst immense pressure and persecution to turn away and worship false gods.

Daniel 2

• Main Point: The all-wise and all-knowing God will sovereignly establish His everlasting kingdom that destroys all other kingdoms.
• Purpose: Keep believing in God’s promises and therefore seek Him for mercy and give Him due thanks, praise and glory.
