Ephesians 1:1–14
- Main Point: The Triune God has graciously blessed us with every spiritual blessing and inheritance for all of time.

- Main Point: God has included us in His full authority and power.
- Purpose: Know God’s authority and experience with hope His blessings by the Holy Spirit’s power.

Ephesians 2:1–10
- Main Point: God saved us while we were dead in sin by grace through faith.
- Purpose: Walk in the good works that God has prepared for us beforehand.

Ephesians 2:11–22
- Main Point: God’s restoration plan is to save both Jews and Gentiles, removing all divisions through the cross.
- Purpose: Remember that we are included with Jews as one church that hosts God’s presence.

- Main Point: God has miraculously included us as members of His indivisible family through Christ, to unveil His wisdom to everyone.

- Main Point: God gives us grace and equips us to grow the one Church in unity.
- Purpose: Walk in a manner worthy of the Gospel by pointing others Christward as one Church with many parts.

- Main Point: Christ loved us, forgave us, and created us anew as one Church made in His likeness.
- Purpose: Put on the new self in Christ, and put off the old self apart from Christ.

- Main Point: God has lovingly adopted us as children of light who imitate our Father in heaven, saving us from being sons of darkness who live disobediently.

- Main Point: We are the body of Christ whom Christ our head loves wholeheartedly, even to the point of death.
- Purpose: Wholeheartedly submit to one another in our unique roles given by Christ our head.
